Americares

Americares is accepting donations to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and training health workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak.

 

Center for Disease Philanthropy

The CDP COVID-19 Response Fund supports nonprofit organizations, including social service organizations, small businesses, immigrant/New American populations, older adults, people with disabilities and other vulnerable communities as it relates to physical health, mental health and the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Direct Relief

Direct Relief works globally to equip doctors and nurses with life-saving medical resources and coordinates with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to healthcare workers responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities Center

Elmcor services two New York neighborhoods heavily impacted by COVID-19 and are in need of PPE for staff and participants and monetary donations to purchase gift cards for families in need of resources and supplies.

 

First Responders First

Donations to the First Responders First fund are dedicated to providing essential supplies, equipment, and resources to frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles

The COVID-19 Crisis Fund supports critical needs for families, small businesses, healthcare workers and services for the homeless in the city of Los Angeles as it responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Northeast Nurses Association

The Northeast Nurses Association (NENA) supports nurses and other frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

SUNY DOWNSTATE PPE

SUNY DOWNSTATE IS ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF CRITICAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES. Anyone interested in donating should send an email to donate@downstate.edu.

 

SUNY DOWNSTATE GOFUNDME

Monetary support is needed to purchase personal protective equipment (PPE) and additional testing kits because SUNY Downstate is running out of supplies to ensure it’s healthcare workers remain protected.

The ALL IN Challenge aims to be the world’s largest digital fundraiser by raising tens of millions of dollars to feed those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

America’s Food Fund

America’s Food Fund supports America’s food banks that support communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic ensuring that all people have reliable access to food.

 

Feeding America

Feeding America, the largest network of hunger-relief organizations, launched the COVID-19 Response Fund, a national food and fundraising effort to support people facing hunger and the food banks who help them.

Food Bank NYC

New York City’s leading hunger-relief organization providing emergency food to vulnerable New Yorkers who are quarantined, along with those impacted by the economic downturn in the wake of COVID-19.

 

James Beard Foundation

The James Beard Foundation provides critical financial assistance to small, independent restaurants that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have an immediate need for funds to pay set operating expenses and keep from going out of business.

 

Meals on Wheels

The Meals on Wheels COVID-19 Response Fund helps local communities across the country meet the increased demand for nutritious meals that can keep our seniors safe and healthy.

 

Team Rubicon

Team Rubicon has launched the #NeighborsHelpingNeighbors initiative to aid communities through acts of service while supporting America’s food-insecure neighborhoods and helping with logistics support for those in temporary quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

World Central Kitchen

The Relief Team at World Central Kitchen is now serving nearly 100,000 meals every day in New York City, Washington DC, Little Rock, Los Angeles, Newark, Oakland, San Francisco, New Orleans, Miami, Puerto Rico, and USVI  — with more to come.

VOLUNTEER

Center for Disease Philanthropy

CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort)

CORE is working with the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office and the Los Angeles Fire Department to provide free drive-through testing for high-risk individuals

and is seeking volunteers to support COVID-19 relief work in the Los Angeles area.

 

New York Cares

A financial donation to New York Cares allows for the recruiting of volunteers, additional support of New York City agencies, nonprofits and schools and the ability to serve more New Yorkers most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Help Now NYC (healthcare volunteers)

The City of New York is seeking licensed healthcare workers to support healthcare facility needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Help Now NYC (non-healthcare volunteers)

The Volunteer Coordination Taskforce (VCTF) supports organizations needing volunteers to provide critical services – such as meal delivery – to vulnerable residents and identifies volunteer opportunities that residents can support, with the understanding that the safety and well-being of all residents is a top priority.

Paul | Weiss COVID -19 Relief Center

Paul | Weiss has established a Coronavirus Relief Center as a clearinghouse with the most up-to-date information about city, state, federal and nonprofit resources available to those dealing with COVID-19 economic impacts. Information will be added about resources as it becomes available.
