Creative Steward

I have worked within a variety of mediums, and often with a strong emphasis on humor, to further the fight for gender equality, inclusion, and representation. I co-founded Calliope Theater Company, producing large scale stage plays, readings, and concerts at a plethora of NYC venues. I Associate Produced at ABC's "The Chew," wrote and performed on house sketch teams at The People's Improv Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade, and starred in "Re:Verse," a comedic pilot named the 2014 New York Television Festival's Best of the Fest and Audience Award winner. My film work has been included in over 20 different festivals. Most recently, my 2018 film Matter & Manner won the SHOUT LGBTQ Jury Award at Alabama's Sidewalk Film Festival. In its 20th year, this is the first time Sidewalk has awarded the SHOUT prize to a short film over features also in contention. Over the past 18 months I have been lucky enough to work for Kristin Burr's BURR! Productions, Laura Lewis' Rebelle Media, and most recently - and currently - at Level Forward. I got the job after company CEO Adrienne Becker saw my inaugural LA theater production, None of the President's Women, a very groovy look at the essential freedom of our press. I have a low voice, high hopes, I detest avocado, and I am thrilled to be part of Level Forward. Let's chat.

How I Level Forward: I have donated to and volunteered for Planned Parenthood every year since age 15, because women's rights are human rights.
