Back and even better, Level Forward returns to Tribeca Festival for the 3rd annual Storytelling for Social Good workshop. In addition to our crowd-favorite guided storytelling experience last seen at Sundance and SXSW 2024, we’re bringing an even more robust slate of impactful programming, including culture-shifting conversations and meaningful connections with boundary-pushing artists and industry leaders.

SHIFTING THE CULTURE FOR RISING VOICES

Join Level Forward’s Anthem award-winning social impact platform, More To Talk About, for a culture-shifting conversation with the Founders of 271 Films and Mexican sisters Constanza and Doménica Castro on the value of independent producers, creating sustainable pathways of opportunity for emerging voices, and the future of latine/x narratives. Moderated by
Kim Hoyos.

MORE TO TALK ABOUT (MTTA) is Level Forward’s Anthem Award–winning audience engagement platform that uses story to ignite culture-shifting conversations, activations, and community building experiences.

Operating under the belief that there is always more to do after witnessing stories on stage and screen, MTTA convenes change agents, culturemakers, and boundary pushers from across mediums and disciplines to coalesce creatives and actively envision how we can maximize the impact potential of storytelling. Our offerings create space for community, inspiration, and a plethora of unique More To’s - artistic tools and resources to increase one’s sense of personal and collective power in creating a more just, progressive, and pleasure-filled world. As a narrative-centered third place, MTTA triples as a live gathering space, digital environment, and podcast companion, each medium offering a unique entry way into a world of More To’s.

STORYTELLING FOR SOCIAL GOOD

Level Forward's Storytelling for Social Good workshop is a guided storytelling experience for the future of narrative change, crafted to empower folks from all industries to see themselves as storytellers, and ready you to harness the power of storytelling for social good.

In this interactive workshop co-created & facilitated by Andrea Ambam (Level Forward) and Dria Brown (Broadway Advocacy Coalition), participants will embark on a high-energy guided journey filled with prompts and provocations that provide practical skills for the storytellers wondering what they can do to use their tools and expertise for maximum social good. Using Tribeca 2024 selections as creative activation, participants will learn and then apply the unique SFSG framework to generate new stories and hone existing ones with the power for impact. Ultimately, Storytelling for Social Good asks us all to consider: What is my responsibility as a culture-maker with the power to shape and tell stories? How can my messaging reshape the status quo? And most importantly, how many untold, liberatory stories emerge when we all commit to storytelling for social good?
